Hi! I’m glad you’re here!

I’m Stephanie, and that’s my mom, Jean, and my pup, Scarlett.

I love Scarlett, but I do not love walking her in the winter.

I have perpetually cold hands. I’m serious — I wear gloves anytime it’s colder than 55 degrees. (I have Reynaud’s syndrome, a condition that affects blood flow to my fingers and toes.) So when it’s cold and I’m out walking the dog, gloves alone don’t cut it for me. My fingertips still freeze, regardless of how great the gloves claim to be.

Last year, my mom loaned me a hand warmer she’d made from a sock filled with rice. Having a hand warmer in my pocket on a walk is fine, but it doesn’t help the hand that’s holding the leash. I found myself wishing there was a way to wrap the hand warmer around the leash handle.

That’s when I came up with the design that would ultimately become the WalkWarmer. I don’t sew, so my mom built me a prototype and I fell in love.

Now my mom and I are working together to help keep your hands warm, too!

This little invention makes my winter dog walks so much more comfortable! And if it does that for me, I know it will improve your cold-weather walks and keep your fingers from freezing, too.

I hope you enjoy WalkWarmers as much as I do!

Warmly,
Stephanie
