FAQ
WalkWarmers fit almost every leash, from standard to retractable! The only one we know of that doesn’t fit is the XS Flexi lead.
Lay it flat in the microwave and heat it for 20-30 seconds to desired warmth. Please be careful; it’s quite warm when you take it out, especially if you nuke it for longer than the recommended time.
Our tests found it stays warm for up to 20 minutes. It varies depending on how long you heated up the hand warmer, the temperature outside, and how much cold air it’s exposed to outside. The more you keep your hand around it, the more it will stay warm.
Someday, we hope! But not yet. If it’s just a little drizzle, your hand around the warmer will protect the rice inside. If the rice packets get wet, remove them from the cover and lay them flat to dry out. If they get soaked, you’ll likely need to replace them. Please contact us to purchase replacement inner packets.
We tested several kinds of materials for WalkWarmers and found that plain white rice held heat the best.
It’s easy! Open the velcro at the top and remove the inner rice packets. (Do not wash inner packets.) Throw the WalkWarmer cover in the wash with your other laundry. Lay flat to dry.
We’re working to set up this capability online. If you’re outside the US and would like to make a purchase, send us a message and we’ll work it out!
You can return WalkWarmers in new condition for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. You’re responsible for return shipping.
